Terms of lease
The vehicle can be rented by persons above the age of 23 who have held a driver's license for at least 2years.
The rented vehicle must not be used:
- under the influence of alcohol, sedatives, narcotics, sleeping aids or other drugs;
- for illegal purposes (e.g. criminal acts, customs and foreign currency violations...);
- for paid transportation of passengers or goods;
- for any competition, speed tests or races;
- for driving or towing other vehicles, trailers or any objects;
- when it is not in proper driving condition;
- for driver training.
The user of the service is obliged:
- not to load the rented vehicle with persons or objects exceeding the permitted weight;
- not to cross the Serbia-Montenegro border in the rented vehicle without the permission of Hopper Rent a Car;
- to cover the costs of used fuel;
- to request the consent of Hopper Rent a Car to extend the agreed period of vehicle use 48 hours before the deadline for returning the vehicle;
- to properly maintain and store the vehicle during use;
- to return the rented vehicle by the agreed deadline or earlier at the request of Hopper Rent a Car;
- to use the vehicle for personal needs only and not rent or lend it to a third party;
- to pay all amounts of fines pronounced against them in connection with the use of the vehicle, which occurred through their personal fault (violation of traffic regulations);
- to protect the interests of Hopper Rent a Car and its insurance company in the event of an accident by:
- recording the names and addresses of participants and witnesses of the accident;
- not abandoning the damaged vehicle until they have removed it from the scene of the accident and secured it;
- immediately informing Hopper Rent a Car by the quickest possible method about the damage, even if it is slight;
- immediately calling the arrival of the traffic police authorities to carry out an official investigation and waiting for them to arrive in case of major damage to the vehicle or if there are injured individuals in the accident (even when it is obvious that the fault lies with another party);
- submitting a written accident report to Hopper Rent a Car.
